Whether or not you are just starting to build your tree or already have a GEDCOM file uploaded to your kit, the Family Tree tool is designed to enrich your total genealogical experience. When building your tree, you can link your matches and add other relatives who have not yet tested with FamilyTreeDNA.
Accessing Your Family Tree
You can access your Family Tree from your dashboard or from your navigation bar.
Accessing from Dashboard
To access your Family Tree from your dashboard:
- Sign in to your kit.
- On your dashboard, locate the Additional Tests & Tools widget.
- On the Additional Tests & Tools widget, in the Other Tools section, click the Family Tree button.
Accessing from Navigation Bar
To access your Family Tree from your navigation bar:
- Sign in to your kit. Your navigation bar is located at the top of your FamilyTreeDNA pages.
- On the navigation bar, click Family Tree.
